1. Unit is photographed from multiple angles to document how it was configured, and then disassembled completely.
2. Castings are stripped of all paint, acid etched (rust removal), alkaline stabilized (rust prevention), and all threads are chased and cleaned.
3. All parts cleaned in a solvent bath and dried. The parts are then visually inspected for any wear, and parts that are applicable for measurement are measured with the proper measurement tools. This includes, but is not limited to:
4. The technician researches our extensive data-base to determine if any of the following conditions apply:
5. The parts are pulled from inventory and the unit is re-assembled by a technician trained and certified in the assembly of that specific product.
6. The unit is then tested BEYOND the full manufacturer catalog ratings of flow-rate, pressure, and most importantly, actual case drain leakage flow, and linearity of flow or pressure versus input command. This would apply to hydraulic, electro-hydraulic, HI-IQ, and other proportional controls.
7. The unit is then washed, dried, painted, and identified with a STAINLESS STEEL nameplate. If the product is to be returned to RMH’s inventory as a stocked item, it is kept full of oil, and drained just prior to shipment to a customer.
